Directed at Portal and Country report API customers

We have enhanced our LGBTQ traveller safety data, starting in June 2024, with even more comprehensive and detailed information to help ensure the safety and security of LGBTQ travellers worldwide.

Customers will not need to make any changes and our products where this data is incorporated will remain the same. The data includes a broad yet simple view of the security and rights situation for LGBTQ people such as:

• An overview of the legal framework of LGBTQ rights in the country
• The social attitudes towards LGBTQ persons and events
• Information about what to expect while travelling to a destination, such as how to behave and where to find LGBTQ-friendly areas, and safety advice.

You can find this information on our Portal by navigating to: Destinations > [country of your choice] > Report > Local Travel > Specific Traveller Advice.
