Migration to an API management platform and Travel Search API v2

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance API governance and management at Riskline, we are implementing a new API management platform to streamline access and improve our clients' experience.

We are also announcing Travel Search API v2 which clients will be able to access for testing and implementation via a developer portal.

This transition will take effect starting 19 May until 31 May 2026, when we will be deprecating v1 of Travel Search API. During the transition period, both the old and new endpoints for Travel Search API will be available until we fully retire v1. In the meantime, v1 endpoint remains the same. We encourage our clients to move to v2 to receive more data and have a better experience via the developer portal. For more details, see the migration guide for the TravelSearch API v2.

Clients will need to follow the steps below to get started:

  • Register in our Developer Portal: https://developers.riskline.com
  • Create an application and subscribe to the Travel Search API v2
  • Wait for approval—Riskline will review your application
  • Request a new API key after your application is approved
  • Use the new key and endpoint to make requests to the API

For clients that use the Travel Search Widget, we will be sharing the new URL with our clients in the coming time. The enhanced v2 of the Travel Search Widget will offer a more user-friendly experience, with a clearer layout and more structured content.
